Charities We Support
Woking & Sam Beare Hospices
While you celebrate, you can support Woking & Sam Beare Hospices by giving a meaningful wedding favour to your guests. One of your guests could win £1,000! By buying a lottery ticket or wrist-band for each guest you can help us to care for over 5000 local people affected by life-limiting illness every year.
Each lottery favour consists of an envelope in a colour to match your theme. In addition, it’s labelled with the guest’s name and a message from you. Enclosed in the envelope will be a lottery ticket or hospice wrist-band – this then acts as your place setting for each guest.
Please call direct on 01276 451498 for more information or pick up a flyer at a Prestige Wedding Fair.
One bride who recently chose our favours for her wedding said:
“Kelly and her team worked hard to get the envelopes for the tickets as close to the colour scheme as possible, printed with the name of each guest and a wristband for our nine year old usher (which he is still wearing!). Feedback from the guests was that the favours felt very personal plus the added excitement of possibly winning the £1,000 cash prize in that week’s lottery.“
Helen & Douglas House
Helen & Douglas House is the world’s first children’s hospice. It has the time and expertise to care for children and young adults with life-shortening conditions. Their aim is to help every young person from birth to 35 years old who visits them live life to the full, even when that life is short. It costs £5 million a year to run the two hospice houses. They are dependent on voluntary contributions for over 85% of that. Find out more information at www.helenanddouglas.org.uk. Visit their Bridal Shop in Newbury to find some amazing bargains and support this worthwhile charity at the same time.
Great Ormond Street Hospital
By asking for donations instead of gifts, your friends and family will make a difference to the sick children. Great Ormond Street Hospital is where amazing things happen every day. To find out more or to create a Celebration Page online visit www.gosh.org/wedding . Alternatively, pick up a flyer at Prestige Wedding Fairs for further details.
